We financially support the Southern Baptist Convention through the Cooperative Program as well as the International Mission Board through special offerings like Lottie Moon, Annie Armstrong, and Janie Chapman.
As a congregation, we participate in two very special year-long projects to help meet the physical and spiritual needs of those in our community.
.
- Our Careportal Ministry works closely with the Croswell Children’s home to meet the immediate physical needs of families active in the foster care system so that we can build relationships with them that will hopefully lead them into a closer walk with Jesus Christ. If you would like to know how to become involved with this ministry, please see Michelle DeVine.
.
- The Bible tells us to “train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old, he will not depart from it.” In 2026, we launched a daycare ministry to reach children in the name of Jesus in the hopes that, when they grow up, they will not depart from the knowledge or spiritual development they receive while being a part of our program. We pray that this ministry allows us to continue being a beacon for Christ to young families in our community for years to come.
.
We also support other local ministry parters, such as Sumter United Ministries and the Sumter Advocacy Center
Each year our congregation forms and trains a summer mission team to go to a different part of the world in the name of Jesus. We make both international and domestic mission trips, having already been to places as close as Atlanta and as far away as Zambia. If you are interested in being a part of our next trip, please see Pastor Billy.
